Job Description: As a Project Manager in the glazing industry, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing glazing projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with our clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently, within budget, and according to specifications. Your strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills will be key to your success in this role.


Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee multiple glazing projects simultaneously, from project initiation to closeout. Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to define project requirements, goals, and timelines. Develop and maintain project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure the timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment. Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, resolve any issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements. Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide accurate and timely financial reports. Effectively communicate project updates, milestones, and potential risks to clients, senior management, and project teams. Lead project meetings, including kick-off meetings, progress meetings, and closeout meetings. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project correspondence. Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to enhance collaboration and ensure client satisfaction. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and profitability. Requirements: Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the glazing industry or a related field. Solid understanding of glazing systems, installation techniques, and industry standards. Proven track record of successfully managing glazing projects of varying sizes and complexities. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams to achieve project goals. Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, architects, and subcontractors. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Knowledge of construction contracts, specifications, and relevant building codes. Degree or diploma in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required. PMP certification or other relevant certifications are a plus.
