SoFi is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager in the Marketing Data Science (MDS) team, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
The Marketing Data Science team is responsible for enabling data driven decisions in SoFi's Marketing organization through robust analytics, modeling, experimentation and measurement. Embedded in the Marketing organization, the team supports all marketing needs across three verticals:
Product Strategy and AnalyticsMarketing Measurement and Digital Channel AnalyticsReporting directly to MDS lead, this new role will be a key member of the team and will manage the project lifecycle, stakeholder communication and delivery that directly contribute to business KPIs as well as setup operational KPIs for the verticals.
This role is responsible for cross-functional management of all project deliverables and timelines, and ensures seamless execution of the team's priorities. These priorities include analytic projects, strategic analysis, business reporting and campaign execution. What you'll do: Project Planning and Management: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables as well as develop detailed project plans with realistic timelines and critical milestones.Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates and gathering requirements as well as communicating findings and recommendations.Project Documentation: Update plans, schedules and documents (e.g. PRDs) to ensure cross functional alignment using tools like Jira.Issue Management: Identify, evaluate, and resolve problems or dependencies to keep the projects on track.Resource Management: Allocate resources efficiently and manage team workloads and identify and mitigate project risks.Performance Management: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and timeliness.Policy & Procedures: Design, write and update policy and procedures to ensure best practices are followed.Vendor and Budget Management: Collaborate with Finance and Business partners to manage budget and investment needs across MDS tools and vendors.What you'll need: 3+ years of experience in a Project Management role supporting Marketing and/or analytics teams.Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana, Microsoft Project).Experience delivering projects in the financial services industry and/or marketing.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Strong problem solving skills and ability to think outside the box to drive deliverables.BS or equivalent experience.Nice to have: Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Certification.Familiarity with various marketing channels, analytics tools and marketing principles & strategies.Data analysis and interpretation: Understand data analysis techniques and methodologies, collaborate with data scientists to interpret results and provide actionable insights, ensure integrity and quality of data being used.Compensation and Benefits The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and location.
Pay range: $67,200.00 - $126,000.00
Payment frequency: Annual
