Job Summary
As a subject matter expert, collaborate with various teams to support project deliverables effectively, create comprehensive short and long-term property technology project plans, ensure timely and budget-conscious completion. Responsibilities include establishing schedules, milestones, and expectations to meet project deadlines. Emphasize the importance of deploying solutions meticulously to maintain high-quality standards and prevent potential network issues or rework actions.
This role, reporting directly to the Director of Technology Solutions, is part of the Project Management team within the Full Tech department, with a work location set as Field/Remote.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Communicate, track, and establish schedules, milestones, client expectations, and deliverables for building system technology solutions.
- Ensure that deployments and implementations are meticulously carried out to maintain quality standards and prevent network failures or rework actions.
- Monitor and report project financials, forecast project finances, and collaborate with accounting on AIA billing through client management portals.
- Work independently as a subject matter expert to support project deliverables effectively, create comprehensive property technology project plans to ensure timely and budget-conscious completion.
- Lead deployments and implementations with a focus on quality work, preventing network failures or rework actions, and have the authority to delegate tasks to team members as needed.
- Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for progressing with a property technology project.
- Serve as a point of contact for teams assigned to the same project, ensuring team synergy.
- Track project status, generate management reports, and coordinate project plans through meetings.
- Conduct quality control throughout project development to maintain expected standards.
- Adjust schedules and targets based on project needs or financial changes.
- Provide day-to-day support within the property technology function, taking ownership of job performance, seeking improvement, applying feedback, and collaborating with teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Maintain professional standards, escalate recommendations to support scalable business needs, and remain curious and adaptable to innovative solutions.
- Build internal and external customer relationships, utilize effective communication methods, and adapt communication to suit the audience.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal teams, customers, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Prioritize service-driven responses to stakeholders, consistently delivering high-quality results.
- Deliver work products timely, follow company procedures and best practices, collaborate with the team and customers, and identify opportunities to achieve objectives.
- Take ownership and accountability for position responsibilities, striving to deliver innovative results that establish trust, credibility, and quality performance.
- Integrate the company's core values into everyday practices by treating all customers professionally, honestly, and respectfully.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, network engineering, management, or related field preferred; alternatively, a minimum of ten years of project management experience.
- 5+ years of customer-facing IT project management experience in construction and/or hospitality focused on full property technology.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Projects in Controlled Environments (PRINCE2) certification is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of project financial reporting and forecasting.
- Proficiency in construction project management software such as Procore, GCPay, Smartsheets, NetSuite, and AIA billing.
- Experience in forecasting, tracking, and reporting project revenue.
- General knowledge of networking, voice, access control, CCTV, back-of-house computers/services.
- Ability to operate with urgency, professionalism, integrity, collaboration, and ethics.
- Creativity in providing cost-effective solutions and driving customer advantage.
- Intermediate PC skills in Windows Operating System, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, and Project.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% to various customer, sales, and project locations.
