Supply Chain Project Manager 12+ Months Everett or Renton, WA Rate-55/hour Job Description: Supply Base Management Specialist • Manages work movement projects between suppliers and supplier facility moves. Leads efforts to establish executable plans, ensure performance to plan, mitigate risk and resolve supply chain issues (technical or non-technical) associated with work movement, partnering with key suppliers and Supply Chain partners to drive quality and on-time parts delivery. • Communicates across functions (e.g. procurement agents, suppliers, internal customers, field operations, quality, engineering, manufacturing) to report status and concerns. Co-facilitates with the supplier the development of a recovery plan and unplanned demand requirements. Participates in on-site supplier visits (e.g. Preferred Supplier Certification, Proof of Process and Rate Readiness) to identify supplier capacity and capability to perform current and projected work statement and support Boeing procurement strategy. Monitors suppliers' performance-to-plan to ensure compliance to contractual requirements and provides status back to supervisor and procurement agent. • Engages suppliers and provides technical assistance in areas such as manufacturing, planning, and requirements interpretation to ensure delivery schedule compliance and product conformity. Monitors metrics and manages work movements through a gated process and ensures process compliance. Assists suppliers in developing plans and monitors suppliers' performance-to-plan to ensure compliance to contractual requirements related to the work movements.
