Tenant Improvement and Restoration
VERTEX provides complete general contracting services for tenant improvement/tenant finish projects. Our boutique Tenant Improvement Division prides itself on establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with our clients. Vertex is seeking a Project Manager to join our Tenant Improvement/Restoration team in Denver, Colorado. This person will enjoy the challenge of working on multiple projects ranging between $25K-$5M with durations spanning one week to four months. Projects are most often commercial interior construction and include office, retail, industrial, hospitality and medical. This opportunity offers valuable real-world experience in a fast pasted, rapid growth environment. Project Managers are responsible for delivering outstanding professional services within their skill set, expanding our current client network and seeking new construction opportunities. More specific details are described below.
Core Responsibilities
Effective management of commercial interior renovation projects from start to finish acting as main point of contact for clients and Vertex Superintendents.
Ensure assignments are executed on-time and on-budget with technical proficiency, accuracy, and professionalism.
Maintain accurate paperwork throughout the project: Contracts, Meeting Minutes, Change Orders, Submittals, etc. (Utilizing Procore)
Work with Project Coordinator on payment applications, schedules of value, lien releases, etc.
Review and interpret plans and specifications.
Support field staff and estimating staff when required
Update schedules if required (Microsoft Project)
Manage deadlines, progress, and quality on multiple projects simultaneously.
Pursue new jobs/assignments, interface with potential clients.
Promote safety as a priority both in-house and on-site, in accordance with corporate policy.
Travel as required to fulfill position and project responsibilities.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in a technical, construction-related field (i.e.: architecture, construction management, engineering) preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 2-4 years of Project Management experience in a Tenant Improvement/Restoration construction environment.
Knowledge & Skills
Must be able to perform multiple tasks and handle multiple priorities.
Knowledge of computer operations and standard software packages.
Proficiency of the Microsoft Office suite.
Able to demonstrate experience in the management of construction designs, budgets and schedules.
Experience in delivery of projects on-time and on-budget.
Able to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with superiors, co-workers, clients and subcontractors
Able to provide oversight and direction to junior staff
Additional Information
The annualized salary range for this role is $90,000-110,000.
