Position Summary:
The Print Project Manager operates as a valuable contributor within our Project Management team and is responsible for managing projects with cross-functional teams, execution of capital projects and other key business projects as well as develops systems and processes that are consistently applied and expands project management capability and resources within the organization to produce successful project outcomes for The Imagine Group.
Our Project Managers can work on multiple projects for customer programs with varying complexity.
The Project Mangers owns the complete project(s) scope from start to finish and ensures they are completed on time.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Develops prioritization criteria, resource requirements, and approval processes for project initiation from primary stakeholder(s).
Establishes and standardizes project plans to control scope, schedule, budget, and other success criteria.
Creates production plans with easy-to-understand instructions for 2 shifts.
Ensures project milestones are met, and project has adhered to budget.
Develops and standardizes risk assessment tools and escalation processes.
Standardizes project progress reports, reviews and presentations.
Standardizes cross-functional team task tracking, project deliverables, and timeline tracking highlighting critical paths.
Ensures processes are in place for proper employee engagement and input at the floor level.
Communicates production requirements to floor supervisors.
Attends and actively participates in scheduled project meetings; Proactively communicating all concerns that impact the projects and offer viable solutions to customer issues.
Leads projects as well as develops others in project management and standard processes.
Assists in developing and delivering project management training including certification to others.
Interacts in regular status meetings for active projects.
Specifies and procures components needed from outside vendors for projects.
Troubleshoots any project issues by identifying the root cause and implementing corrective actions to ensure on time delivery of the project to our customers.
Perform other duties as requested.
Mandatory Qualifications:Bachelors Degree and 2 years of print industry experience or 4-6 years experience in the print industry.
Proficient management and leadership skills and competencies.
Highly proficient verbal and written communication capabilities as well as executive presentation abilities.
Strong user of project management tools such as MS Project.
Ability to manage at both a broad and tactical level.
Highly Organized and able to multi-task.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent Communication both internally and externally.
Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office email, and internet.
Ability to apply concepts to establish and meet goals Effective business consulting skills including ability to establish rapport with key business leaders to collaborate and influence.
Team building, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills Preferred Qualifications:Certification from an accredited institution in Project Management helpful (e.g., PMI Certified) Bilingual or multilingual proficiency in any language (including ASL) preferred Physical Requirements:Occasional walking Manual dexterity for repetitive work Frequent Sitting for prolonged periods of time Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
The national pay range for this role is $55,000 - $69,000 a year.The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location.
The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location.
In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission, or incentive program.
