As a highly valued member of the Forney, TX Team, this role will manage material requirements and maintain the master schedule.
This includes managing MRP and expediting material as required to meet production needs.
Responsibilities will also include scheduling and managing some sub-assemblies.
The analyst will drive improvements in material turns, storage, packaging, and customer delivery.
The position will require a significant interface with Suppliers, Customer Service, Production, Procurement, Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing.

**AS A PLANNER/SCHEDULER, YOU WILL:**
+ Maintain a current and accurate system
+ Works with customer service representatives and the shipping department to ensure all orders are planned and prioritized to meet or exceed customer schedules
+ Responsible for keeping the operations teams busy with work or advising when work is limited
+ Notifies operations of all requested changes from the customer regarding scheduling, processing, and shipping
+ Ensures all customer orders are waved and processed in order of priority
+ Run daily air and expedited orders
+ Run labor reports daily and review with Dock Supervisors and Operations Manager
+ Review/Update product code A, B, C velocity zone assignments monthly along with the Operations Manager and Inventory
+ Review/update optimal static and dynamic pick locations monthly along with Operations Manager and Inventory
**REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:** **?
**
+ Bachelor's degree plus one (1) year of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
+ Strong computer and mainframe skills
+ Materials and/or Operations experience
+ Legal work authorization in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role

**PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:**
+ Prefer degree in Supply Chain, Operations or related
+ Excellent communication skills in English / Spanish
+ Knowledge of ISO QMS
+ Knowledge of Manhattan WMS
**SCHEDULE:**
This is a first shift position with general working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

This role will help support our new distribution center in Forney, TX.
The address is 13871 W US Highway 80 Frontage Road, Forney, TX 75126.
