Project Program Manager

CST on the closing date. A-State participates in E-Verify. Position Summary: The Program Director assumes overall responsibility for the daily operation of the McNair Project. The Program Director reports to the TRIO Campus Coordinator. Duties & Responsibilities: Assumes overall responsibility for the daily operation of the McNair Project and participants, and budget expenditure. Supervises McNair staff. Evaluates McNair objectives to determine their effectiveness and when change is needed. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Two to three years of experience in reporting, staff supervision, program management, and working with grant programs. Two years of experience in classroom management and assessment content. Experience in database management. General Days/Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Additional hours as requested and/or needed Regular and reliable attendance Other: Please note: all position postings close at 12:00 A.M. CST on the position closing date Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. preferred, Master's degree accepted in counseling, education, administration, or a related field. Commitment to and experience working with disadvantaged populations and two to three years of experience in administration and managing TRIO programs or related programs that serve underprivileged individuals.
