Project Scheduler / Senior Scheduler Location: Detroit, MI
Position: Full-Time
Metric Geo is partnering with a leading national contractor to strengthen their team for high-profile industrial and commercial projects across the U.S. We are seeking experienced Project Schedulers and Senior Schedulers to drive project timelines and ensure successful delivery.
Position Summary: Your main focus will be on creating and managing detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals from initial design through to completion.
You'll work closely with all stakeholders, tracking progress, identifying potential issues, and recommending solutions to keep projects on time and within budget.
Primary Responsibilities: Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, covering all stages from design to final handover.Monitor construction progress, identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.Prepare cost and resource-loaded schedules, analyze potential delays, and recommend corrective actions.Deliver clear and concise reports that communicate schedule status and project indicators.Utilize scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and other relevant software to manage project timelines.Collaborate with the project team to ensure all objectives are met and project risks are mitigated.Preferred Qualifications: Degree in Engineering or Construction Management is advantageous; equivalent experience will also be considered.At least two years of construction scheduling experience.Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and other scheduling tools.Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to travel and work on-site as required.Why Work With Us?
