Project Specialist (Quality)

Under general supervision and reporting to the Director of Quality Operations, The Project Specialist serves as a vital link between Prime Aerospace and Defense customers and their supply base to complete contract obligations and complete SOW activities. Incumbents must have solid project management experience with focus on technical Excel skills, and strong organizational behaviors, as well as interpersonal communication skills with the ability to develop strong relationships. Job Responsibilities: Manages all customer and internal spreadsheets, customer interface portals, and other relatable tools.Manage customer and internal systems, including all Bolt-Ons.Manages all notes/action lists, RAIL items etc.Tracks flow of all information for the teamDrives the teams' actions to complete assignments and mitigate risk.Create daily/weekly/monthly status reports and communicates actions and plans to all stakeholder within the team and with applicable customers.Prepares presentations and participates as necessary.Facilitate internal meetings.Performs other duties as assigned.Required Skills MS Office Tools, with special emphasis on ExcelMust have Calibration to included NIST and ISO requirementsExperience with Non Conformance reporting and TrackingExperience working project management activities in a multi-dimensional project.Skills:Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Excel Advanced skills required)produce graphs and tables, use spreadsheets efficiently and perform calculation and automation to process large volumes of data (e.g. pivot tables, power pivot, power query, macros, VLOOKUP, formula, database)Meeting presentation skillsFamiliar with CAPAWorking Knowledge of quality metrics development and dashboard creation in either Quick sight or TableauFluent English – reading and writing is required.Professionalism, integrity, and exceptional attention to detailStrong independent decision-making skills; excellent analytical skills and professional judgmentExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsAdditional Desired Skills: Ensure the accuracy of data and information.Understand, interpret, apply, and explain applicable policies and procedures.Prioritize and escalate matters to supervisor as appropriate.Maintain confidentiality of company documents and recordsExercise discretion in handling sensitive informationEstablish and maintain effective working relationships.Pass pre-hire background check including credit screening.General Requirements Manufacturing Experience – 5-10 years, preferably in Operations, Supply Chain, QA, Production Control, or another related departmentBachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, business, quality assurance or related field (preferred qualification)Experience working on projects, customer interface/interactions and completing projects in a timely fashion.Any combination of education and experience may be considered.Additional Qualifications (Preferred):  US or International citizenship or permanent residence status required depending on work location. Fluent English – reading and writing is required.Pass pre-hire background check including DMV and credit screening.Pass Pre-hire Drug ScreeningBENEFITS:  12 days paid vacation first year, increasing with service years10 days paid sick time11 paid holidaysHealthcare insurance available: Medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD, critical illness, life insurance for self and dependentsChamp Plan Wellness and HealthFree to employees working minimum 20 hours/week with anticipated $30k/annual earningsParticipation increases net take home pay $$$ in most instancesFree wellness initiativesFree tele-healthFree and discounted RXAuto enrollment (unless tax elections result in negative impact)Eligible on the 1st of the month following 30 days of continuous employmentrequires monthly 10-minute wellness activity participation401k retirement savings with matchEligible on the first (1st) of the month following 90 days of continuous employment100% match of 1st 3% contribution50% match of next 2% contributionIMMEDIATE VESTINGCompany-provided cell phone, laptop, mobile wi-fi (for business use only)Regular Hourly rate for travel time Direct Pay Travel arrangements for flights, hotels and rental carsTravel Reimbursements direct deposited with each payrollFederal rate Mileage reimbursement (.67/mile 2024) when driving personal vehicles on company businessPer diem reimbursements for meals and incidentalsOvernight trips - Up to $75Leaving home after 4 pm $40Federal rate mileage reimbursement (.67/mile 2024) when driving personal vehicles on company businessDirect Pay Travel arrangements for flights, hotels and rental carsTravel Reimbursements direct deposited with each payrollPer diem reimbursements for meals and incidentalsOvernight trips - Up to $75Leaving home after 4 pm $40$1500 EMPLOYEE REFERRAL BONUSInitial $750 paid upon hire of qualified referred employee (rehires excluded)Additional $750 paid upon referral's full completion of 90 days' employmentPay Range $55,000- $85,000 Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
