Project Support Specialist
Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume) :
Bachelor's degree in Social Welfare or related fields. Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a pediatric outpatient setting. Experience with Cerner power chart. Experience working with children with autism diagnosis. Experience leading support groups.
Brief Description of Duties:
Provides social work services to families seen by the Early Childhood Clinic. This includes but is not limited to conducting psychosocial histories, leading first-time autism diagnosis groups, leading sibling support groups, family follow-up after initial consult, connecting families with resources such as Early Intervention, Committee for Preschool Special Education, Committee for Special Education, Office for People with Developmental Disabilities, coordinating and/or providing educational talks to ECC families, and collaborating with the team.

The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation. Employment is subject to the Research Foundation policies and procedures, sponsor guidelines and the availability of funding. FLSA Non-Exempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.
