Propel Business Transformation Assistant ManagerLocation: Hybrid remote in Olympia, WALimited duration appointment expected to last through December 2025

Responsibilities
• Assist the Propel Business Transformation Manager in leading all business transformation activities and managing workstream resources• Act as a lead worker for all business transformation workstreams• Manage RAID (risk, action, issue, and decision) log items assigned to business transformation team• Monitor that overall project deliverables are included in the integrated schedule• Assign project tasks and ensuring all business transformation workstream deliverables are completed timely• Coordinate with impacted users of financial systems across all regions, programs, and divisions• Effectively engage staff, especially non-fiscal users of financial system• Manage Propel's Business Process Reviewer and Power User Networks• Act as primary point of contact for FHWA to obtain approval of TRAINS 4.0 and Workday• Coordinate required business transformation activities with OneWa Transportation Lead• Maintain Propel/OneWa Dependent Deliverable Agreement (DOA) list• Coordinate with other Propel workstreams• Identify and address risks and issues
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree with concentration in Business Administration, Accounting, Information Technology, or similar field• Minimum of five (5) years of recent experience working in complex organizations, with two (2) years of experience working on complex financial or administrative systems implementation• OR nine (9) years of recent experience working in complex organizations, with two (2) years of experience working on complex financial or administrative systems implementation• Knowledge and understanding of complex financial applications and systems• Exceptional analytical skills• Exceptional oral and written communication skills• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously• Ability to work independently and in a team environment• Ability to work in a high-stress environment with multiple competing priorities and deadlines• Ability to provide excellent customer service• Ability to understand and operate in WSDOT's authorizing environment
