Property Accountant

A well-established Cleveland area residential management and development company is looking for an energetic degreed accountant with at least 2 years professional experience.
Essential job functions include but not limited to: Analyze monthly financials and cash flows for multiple properties Prepare bank and GL reconciliations Maintain a Fixed Asset system for multiple properties Reconcile insurance payments to the original premium quote Review collection reports Perform procedural audits for multiple properties File state and local taxes Continuously makes recommendations for business process improvement Perform various year end processes Assist with annual budget Bank reporting Analyze mortgage and escrow statements Perform job cost analysis Job cost reporting Other special projects as assigned Knowledge, skills, and abilities: Comprehensive understanding of general accounting principles Advance proficiency in Excel Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work Excellent multitasking and time management skills Ability to work independently Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting At least 2 years of Accounting experience, including internships Experience with Real Page and Sage 300 Timberline software is highly preferred Experience with Fixed Asset system is preferred Gross Residential has been in business for over 100 years, our dynamic organization offers a fun, pleasant and professional office environment, on the job training, professional development opportunities, health, dental, and vision benefits, health savings account, 401(k) with match, generous paid time off package, and more!
