Work Location + Schedule
Primary office location is in Sugar Land, Texas
Hybrid work option available after first 90 days of employment contingent on performance
Hybrid option includes four days in the office and one day remote

Job Details
Roles + Responsibilities
Manage all transactional accounting operations of assigned property
General ledger account analysis and management
Reconcile accounts receivable, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accounts payables, revenue, and expense accounts
Approve AP invoices in Avid
Set up and maintain lease files in designated software
Manage property rent roll(s) details and updates
Prepare the monthly funding request with property management
Produce financial packages per established guidelines
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close out in collaboration with property management
Provide analysis and assistance with budget variance explanations
Maintain tenant accounts and assist with tenant account inquires
Review and post tenant receipts and charge batches
Complete monthly bank reconciliations
Monitor assigned bank accounts and electronic lock box daily
Perform other ad hoc duties as requested
Skills + Qualifications Needed To Succeed
Bachelor's degree (required)
Property or project accounting experience in real estate, preferably commercial property management (required)
Strong working knowledge of MRI or similar industry-specific software (required)
Experience with Avid Invoice and Avid Pay (strong plus)
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Ability to work well with others but also independently take ownership of assigned tasks
Comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
