Job Summary:
The Property and Asset Specialist will be responsible for a variety of projects within the property function, but not limited to, managing financial aspects of large loss property claims, including damage assessment, and coverage evaluation.
Additionally, the candidate will assist with various aspects of claims management, including documentation review, data analysis, and customer communication.
Complete on-site fall arrest inspection and lifeline recertification and conduct on-site safety audits.

Essential Job Functions:
Large Loss Claims- Financial Management: Manage large loss claims, including physical damage assessment and evaluation.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the resolution of large loss claims in a timely and efficient manner Property Claims: Provide Financial information for property claims.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to expedite property claims resolution.
Maintain current property status: Confirm new locations are being entered into Origami.
Identity and closed or inactive with vested interest locations.
New Location Pollution Surveys.
Statement of Value: Update Marshall Swift Reports (three-year cycle).
Update appropriate value tracking.
Issue SOV for review and submission to insurance broker.
Certificate of Insurance: Oversee the issuance of certificates of insurance.
Monitor the expiration dates of insurance policies listed on COIs to ensure continuous coverage.
Provide training and education to relevant staff members involved in requesting, reviewing, and managing certificates of insurance.
Implement processes for ongoing compliance monitoring to detect and address any changes or updates to insurance coverage during the contract term.
Regularly review and evaluate the COI management process to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline workflows, and enhance efficiency.
Bonds: Process bond requests.
Ensure that the bonds are issued and delivered to the appropriate parties.
Maintain Bond request information.
Monitor bond expiration dates and initiate the renewal process well in advance to avoid lapses in coverage.
Evaluate and enhance bond management processes and procedures based on lessons learned, feedback from stakeholders, or changes in regulatory requirements.
Maintain Flood Policy Declarations: Review locations and confirm designated flood zone status.
Maintain active flood polices where designated.
Fall Arrest Inspections: Conduct fall arrest inspections as part of property claims assessment.
Ensure location compliance with safety regulations and standards during fall arrest inspections.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
PC Literate: Including Microsoft Office Products.
Effective analytical and interpretive skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with frequent interruptions.
Ability to diffuse and manage volatile and stressful situations.
This position may require work on rare occasions to be performed on weekends.
Maintain Competent Person certification.
Work travel approximately 10%.
Pay Range:
$64,575.00-$96,862.50 Annual
