Available Position : Staff Underwriting (Product Analyst)
Career Level: Entry Level or Experienced
Role and Responsibility
Actuarial and statistical analysis.
Analyze submissions from agents or existing book of business and cooperate with management for strategic solutions.
Determine coverage availability, coverage limit, the premium to be paid and other terms required in accepting the risk within their authority and guidelines.
Pricing and Loss Ratio analysis by product, Line, Branch
Market and competitors benchmarking
U/W guideline management, IT System implementation
Monitoring the results: Each branch's line U/W, Inspection Report
Other works that are necessary for business
Job qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree and/or 3 or more years related professional insurance experience
1) 3 or more years related professional insurance experience is preferred but not required
2) Bachelor's degree – Math, Economics, or Statistics major is preferred but not required
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Capability to build and maintain positive relationships through teamwork
Bi-lingual in English and Korean is preferred but not required

Compensation : $55,000~$70,000/Yr
Other qualification:
? Applicants Must be authorized to work in the United States (OPT Holders are eligible)
Limited business travel may be required
