Who You Are: All of our Team Members at Planet Fitness share one thing in common a passion for our amazing brand and a desire to make our members feel welcome in our Judgement Free Zone The Assistant Manager will aid the General Manager in the oversight of club operations to ensure an exceptional Judgement Free member experience. The Assistant Manager will be accountable for leading a team of employees in a positive, motivating manner with continuous assistance in employee training and development. Organize shift schedule for team members. Assist in the coordination and hiring of team members. Train new or current team members on club tasks. Can comfortably manage through conflict. Delegate responsibilities to club staff and enforce all PF policies and procedures. Supervise team members performance and share feedback with your General Manager, upper management and team members. Manage inventory system for club operations. Execute retail transactions with accuracy and drive sales goals. Coach and counsel team members through disciplinary process up to termination. Requirements: What you bring to the table: 1-2 years of Management or Supervisory experience. Must be 18 years of age. High school diploma/GED equivalent required. Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided by Planet Fitness). Strong customer service skills. Strong problem resolution skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite). Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time. This role is subject to successful completion of a background check, after offer acceptance. All background screens will be conducted in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
