Detailed Description: The University of San Diego (USD) seeks a Provost & Vice President for Academic Affairs who is an innovative, visionary, collaborative, and student-centered leader. Working in close partnership with President James T. Harris, peer members of the Strategic Leadership Team, and USD's accomplished and dedicated faculty, the next Provost & VPAA will lead this unique, highly entrepreneurial, and mission-driven institution to its next level of academic excellence and student success.
Job Requirements: The next Provost & VPAA will demonstrate a passion for contemporary Catholic higher education and an unwavering commitment to USD's mission and core values. Key qualifications include: a proven, long-term track record of success in academic administration at tuition-driven, comprehensive institutions with undergraduate and graduate offerings; the ability to articulate the commitment to shared governance and demonstrated collaboration with faculty; knowledge of the principles of sound fiscal management and experience developing and managing significant budgets to achieve the institution's strategic priorities; and an earned doctorate and eligibility for appointment at the rank of full professor.
Salary and Benefits: $33,333-$41,666/month; Excellent Benefits.
