Our programs offer a model of treatment that blends medically sophisticated care with a personalized treatment approach. Our work is grounded in evidence-based strategies for adults and adolescents suffering from eating disorders. We work from a multi-disciplinary treatment team approach while integrating state-of-the-art medical, psychiatric, nutritional, and clinical strategies to provide comprehensive care within an intimate home setting. We are seeking an Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to work at Monte Nido Portland Day Treatment in Portland, OR on a 1099 basis. This is very part-time with a very flexible schedule! Responsibilities Include:: Conduct initial Psychiatric evaluations.Meet weekly with patients for ongoing follow-up sessions.Maintain current and correct progress notes.Psychotropic medication management.Collaborate with the full treatment team as needed.Communicate with referring providers and family members as appropriate.Provide patient-specific input for Discharge Planning.Maintain compliance with all standards set by agencies with oversight of this facility, and practice within the scope of a PMHNP. Qualifications:: Master's Degree in Advanced Practice Nursing on a PMHNP track, at minimum, from an accredited program.Board Certified by the ANCC as PMHNP.Current license as APRN or PCNS, or be license-eligible.Must hold or obtain CPR / BLS certificate prior to providing services.New graduates are welcome; experience is highly desired, and we consider clinical rotations and/or practica to be clinical experience.
