Psychiatrist - Consulting

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to collaborate with our PMHNPs in Sterling Heights, MI.
Must have an active Michigan License as a Psychiatrist
Responsibilities:
-Collaboration: Being the consult to our Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to ensure holistic care when they need guidance.
-Collaborating on Treatment Plans: Assisting Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners with treatment plans, if needed, based on clients' needs.
-Maintaining Records: Keeping accurate and confidential client records, including progress notes and treatment plans reviewed.
-Staying Updated: Keeping up with the latest research and best practices in psychiatry.
Requirements:
- Degree from an accredited school of Psychiatry
- Active license and board certification in the relevant field
- Proven experience as a practicing Psychiatrist
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with advising NPs on client cases that they may need input with.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills for electronic record keeping
