Position Purpose:
The primary responsibilities of the Cashier position are to Create Loyal Customers by providing superior customer service, processing sales quickly, accurately, efficiently, and ensuring the customer has a convenient shopping experience.
The person should fluidly adjust their daily role to fit the specific company needs and embrace the core values of Kabelin Hardware Company.
Key Accountabilities: Fully Embrace the Kabelin Core Values Ensure each customer receives outstanding service which follows the S.A.L.E.S process and by mystery shop standards Execute the daily operational, day-to-day goals and priorities assigned by store management via TrelloAlways be working on your own development with guidance from your Management teamAssist in the training and development of peersActively participate in daily huddle meetingsGuarantee all customers can process through the register in a timely and convenient manner Accurately and efficiently ring on registers and maintain all cash at registers Maintain orderly appearance of register area and supplies stocked Greet customers as they enter the store Answer phone calls and connect the customer with whom they need to speak with Issuing receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers Responsive to safety issues - identify them and inform the management team immediatelyConscious of shoplifting activityAssist customers in finding the merchandise they need or create a rain check / special orderActively participate in the Ace Rewards program and share the benefits with our customersAnswer customers' questions and provide information on procedures and policiesMaintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements.Maintain work areas that are safe and presentableWork a schedule that best suits the needs of our customers in an assigned role with a focus on productivityBe responsible and maintain a strong work ethicAlways be flexible as it relates to your roleBe punctualBe an Energy Giver Minimum Qualifications: Education/Experience High School diploma or GED Skills/Knowledge:
