Responsibilities
• Monthly reconciliation of cash bank accounts with general ledger• Monthly reconciliation and tracking of credit card charges• Monthly journal entries for expenses, revenues, and payroll• Working with Development Associate to ensure proper categorization of donations• Developing monthly financial reports for Board of Directors meetings• Establishing policies and procedures with Finance Director• Weekly processing of payroll• Managing Accounts Payable function• Monthly accrual and reconciliation of open expense invoices• Supporting the annual financial audit
Requirements
• 5-10 years of general accounting experience, preferably with a non-profit• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables• Significant experience and skills with QuickBooks Online• Excellent working with people skills• Bachelor's degree preferred• 5 years of accounting experience preferred• Experience working for a non-profit organization• Must have bookkeeping skills
