PTA - Physical Therapy Assistant




MLR is partnering with a respected local health system to recruit a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time, permanent role in Arkansas.
This position is ideal for a compassionate PTA who is committed to helping patients achieve their best functional outcomes through effective therapy treatments in a supportive healthcare environment.




Key Responsibilities:




Therapy Assistance: Assist Physical Therapists in delivering therapeutic treatments, including exercises, manual therapy, and patient education.


Patient Progress Tracking: Monitor and report patient progress to the supervising Physical Therapist, ensuring continuity of care.


Treatment Implementation: Safely implement treatment plans as directed, focusing on patient safety and comfort.


Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, adhering to state and facility regulations.


Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on at-home exercises and body mechanics to support ongoing recovery.


Team Collaboration: Work closely with the healthcare team to provide high-quality, coordinated care and improve patient outcomes.




PTA - Physical Therapy Assistant Qualifications:




Education: Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.


Licensure: Possess or be eligible for a valid Arkansas state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant.


Teamwork: Strong ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
