About This Role: Universal Consulting Services (UCS), a subsidiary of Tria Federal (Tria), is seeking a talented Public Affairs Writer to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) Public Affairs Office.
Responsibilities: Develop content for various types of media, including advertisements, articles, blogs, magazines, and video scripts.Choose subjects that interest readers.Write scripts, biographies, and other formats.Conduct research to get factual information and authentic detail.Write copy for newspapers, magazines, broadcasts, and the Internet.Present drafts to editors and clients for feedback.Work with editors and clients to shape material for publishing.Edit articles, ensuring writing is in accordance with AP style.The "Need-to-Have" Skills & Qualifications: Experience with AP format/style.Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and a demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently.Education: B.S. in Associated fields
Years of Professional Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of experience
Compensation: The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000 to $65,000 (annually USD).
