Pump Mechanic For Direct Hire

Training/Certifications: Ability to perform laser alignments and ability to take vibration readings preferred Shift Time/Overtime: First Shift with Overtime as required Pay: $25-45/H based on experience.  Job Responsibilities for Pump Mechanic : Disassemble and repair rotating or centrifugal pumpsRead blueprints and drawingsUse micrometers and dial indicatorsUtilize presses, torches and pullersAlign pumps and motorsRebuild mechanical sealsQualifications for Pump Mechanic:High School Diploma or Trade school or equivalent training.2 plus years of work experience as pump mechanic with installation and repair experience preferred.Experience and ability to use safely lifting devices such as cranes, forklifts, and riggingExperience or knowledge in welding and fabrication preferredHave a working knowledge of fits and clearancesBe adept at reading micrometers and other measuring instrumentsPhysical Requirements for Pump Mechanic: This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling.
