Purchasing Supervisor - Full Time (80 Hours Every 2 Weeks)

POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for a Purchasing Supervisor to join our Purchasing team! The Purchasing Supervisor administers and directs a program to purchase materials, supplies, and equipment. Reviews requests for equipment, supplies, and other items to assure compliance with purchasing policies and specifications. Interviews vendors, compares prices, specifications, and delivery dates to ensure fair and reasonable agreements. Conducts the purchase order process for special order items and capital equipment. Assists with the receiving, storing, and issuing of purchased items. Supports the Purchasing Agent by obtaining quotes, stocking, and providing backup to the Purchasing Agent.

* This position is Full Time, 80 hours every 2 weeks * POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Two-Year Associate Degree (or high school diploma or GED) and five years related experience required.Knowledge in inventory control and materials management.Basic knowledge of computers.Current driver's license.Strong mathematical aptitude.Ability to produce and complete accurate work.Good written and oral communication skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and work well under pressure.Neat appearance and pleasant personality, with the ability to deal with a variety of constituents.
