A QA Automation Engineer position in Mount Laurel, New Jersey is available with a leading Cybersecurity Solution provider courtesy of NetQuest Corporation. You will work with our Engineering and Product Management teams developing a high-performance deep packet processing and streaming analytics platform for the cybersecurity market, where each person's challenge and contributions have real impact.
Leading QA automation within Agile team:
Work within Agile team including product managers and engineers to understand product requirements, create and execute test plans.Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to validate network security appliance performance, functionality, and security features.Build and enhance automation frameworks and scripts to improve test coverage, reduce test execution time, and ensure reliability.Set up, configure, and maintain test environments, including network configurations, virtual machines, and physical devices.Conduct regular regression testing, identify and track defects, and assist in troubleshooting issues.Collaborate with engineering team to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipeline.Generate test reports and communicate test results with stakeholders.Stay abreast of new testing tools and frameworks to improve test automation.Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in QA testing, with a focus on test automation for network applications or embedded systems.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language, such as Python, and working with Linux.Experience with automation frameworks, such as Robot Framework, Ansible, Selenium, and familiarity with CI/CD tools, such as JenkinsSolid understanding of networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, HTTP/S, SSLExperience with network test tools, such as traffic generation tools, WiresharkExcellent communication skills, with the ability to create tests and test plans and record results in test management tools, such Xray, TestRail, TestLinkSome familiarity with virtualization platforms, such as VMware, DockerWhat's in it for you:
