MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (List in order of importance) Perform method development, verification and validation using advanced analytical instrumentation such as UHPLC (RI, CAD, PDA) and GC (FID, TCD). Adhere to cGMPs, cGLPs, ISO 9001, and all safety regulations as they apply to the Quality Control Lab. Collaborate with internal department to achieve project and company goals Ensure projects are handled with high scientific and ethical quality. Ensure the labs are safely and securely operated to protect the personnel, equipment, and site. Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications) Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Biochemistry Minimum 4-5 years of experience in analytical chemistry. 3-4 years of method development and method validations experience with HPLC or UPLC and GC . Prior training on ISO 9001 and cGMP requirements Proficiency in chromatography techniques, including gas chromatography (GC) and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Proficient with Empower software KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently) Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent written and oral communication skills Able to interface effectively with all levels of employees. Must be proficient with MS office (Word, Excel, and Access) Experience in deviation and complaint investigations including root cause analysis and technical writing. Must be detailed oriented, with strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize workload and work independently to meet commitments with minimal supervision.
