QA Engineer Beaverton, OR Position Summary: This is an exciting opportunity to join Telestream's Lightspeed Live Play product team as a QA engineer. The products produced by this group are used in many high-profile live events (e.g. sports, music, reality TV).
Responsibilities: Identify and report issues, determine their root cause, and verify issues are resolved to the satisfy customer expectations. Perform functional, negative, stress, and regression testing. Maintain existing automation frameworks by adding new features and fixing stability issues to expand and improve upon the capabilities of automated tests. Develop automated tests as a part of the continuous integration system to minimize regression cycle time. Assists with executing testing scripts and plans to ensure that software meets established quality standards. Runs tests across multiple platforms and provides consistent and reliable test results. Qualifications: Associate of Science degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Network and Digital Technology, or similar. 2+ years' experience in a QA/Testing role with a technology organization. Familiarity with digital media / video streaming / subtitling. Experience with defect tracking systems such as Jira. Working knowledge of unit, system, black-box, integration, load/stress, regression, usability and end-to-end testing. Additional strengths: Experience with broadcast infrastructure (e.g. SDI, ST2110). Experience with using REST APIs either with a scripting/programming language or an application like Postman.
