Qa Inspector

JOB PURPOSE: Working under minimal supervision, Inspectors perform Final/In-process Inspection tasks demonstrating intermediate knowledge of shop math, print reading, measuring tools, product segregation, and quality reporting.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Work safely under functional guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.Adhere to quality processes including in-process inspection to ensure compliance with quality specifications.Correctly interpret work orders.Able to work overtime as needed.Perform basic quality, inspection, and lab tasks (in-process, final, receiving inspection).Work in a team environment, i.e., follow instructions and assist others as needed.Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Review router to determine requirements and specifications.Familiarity with AS9102.The ability to use basic inspection tools.The ability to navigate intranet to locate process documents.The ability to read and interpret work instructions and basic prints and dimensions.We provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibit discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
