Key job responsibilitiesCollaborate closely with product teams and partners teams to understand a product vision and customer segment and develop appropriate test strategiesProvide strategic direction, effective delegation and mentorship to QA engineers, Software Development engineers and Business Intelligence engineersDirectly lead the testing of an existing and/or new AVS product, bringing together QA staffing from new hiring and from other existing QA projectsEstablish and streamline an improved QA pipeline to support new and expanding AVS product development challengesGrow both our international QA teams to efficiently and confidently release higher-quality products for our customersEvaluate and communicate the launch readiness of milestones and upcoming releases to key stakeholders and executive leadersBASIC QUALIFICATIONS1+ years of quality assurance engineering experience3+ years of quality assurance teams management experienceExperience in manual testingExperience in automation testingExperience managing manual testersExperience managing automation testersExperience testing web technologies and back-end servicesExperience identifying and reviewing test plans, test cases and testing results with a strong QA backgroundPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience preparing quality metrics and effectively engaging with stakeholders to set and drive quality goalsExperience transforming QA programs from manual to automationAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
