The Quality Assurance/Quality Control Coordinator(QA/QC) is responsible for successful development and execution of the E2 Optics Quality Management System (QMS)to ensure the project is constructed in accordance to industry and customer standards. The QA/QC role includes planning, coordinating, collaborating and partnering with internal and external parties to support the successful execution within the framework of the E2 Optics QMS.
\n Core Duties, & Responsibilities:Safety is our number one priority. Comply with safe work practices consistent with company and client worksite policies.Promote company Core Values to foster and safe guard a family-centric culture.Collaborate with program representatives to coordinate and incorporate applicable quality expectations into the E2 Optics Quality Plan.Engage and influence relevant operational personnel to successfully comply with installation specifications documented within theE2 Optics Quality Plan standard.Ability to create and develop QA/QC structure and tools that encourage behaviors and promote a quality awareness culturePartner with field staff for successful implementation and execution.Generate and analyze quality data analytics for incorporation into metrics to accurately quantify quality performance.Ability to train and coach internal employees to integrate quality awareness into daily activities.Responsible for providing Daily/ Weekly updates to the On-siteE2 Optics RunOps Management team regarding all QA/QC issues and resolutions.Ability to read and interpret general drawings and design specification documents.Technical writing-Ability to create and develop QA/QC installation and technical reference documents, standard operating procedures, inspections, and report documents as required to support the On-siteE2 Optics RunOps team, and Data Center projects.Coordinate and conduct quality inspections prioritized according to DataCenter improvement activities represented in the P6 schedule.Drive continuous improvement activities and support Lean initiatives within the QA/QC department to align with achieving corporate strategic goals.Coordinate with Supervisors and Lead Technicians to deliver coaching and quality-related training to theOn-siteE2 Optics RunOps team as required.Issue, record, monitor and close nonconformance reports. Construct trend data to identify recurring issues.Conduct corrective action(s) and verification audits for non-conforming observations.Maintain and share better practices and learning documents, intra-site and inter-site to anchor them into standards.Preform Daily Audits within the BIM 360 Next Generation software to ensure all data is input correctly.Preform any duties that the Quality Assurance/ Quality Control Program Manager deems necessary.Travel: This position is generally expected to require minimal overnight travel (5%) in certain regions, while will require frequent (50%) overnight and extended out-of-town travel in others. Education:High school diploma or GED requiredFirst Aid/CPR trained(Within 90 days of hire)OSHA-30 trained(Within 90 days of hire)Fiber Optic Association CPCT and CFOT(Preferred)BICSI INSTC and INSTF(Preferred)Fluke CCTT(Preferred) Experience:Minimum 3yearsoffieldworkexperienceinStructured Cabling or related industry/construction experience.Able to Read, write, and understand English.Able to distinguish color codes Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Ability to understand and effectively explain every aspect of the structured cabling system including pathways, spaces, horizontal cabling, backbone copper, backbone fiber optic, cross and inter- connections, and testing. WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. Ability to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, bend, rotate, push, pull, reach with hands and arms on intermittent to regular basis daily. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. The employee may be required to work in tight, confided spaces. The employee must demonstrate regular and on-time attendance. There could be a requirement of occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required.
