QA Supervisor - Direct Hire Opportunity!
Are you a seasoned professional in the meat industry with a passion for quality assurance and food safety? Join our team as a QA Supervisor and play a vital role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of safety and quality.
Location: Cherry Hill, NJ
Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 per year
Schedule: 8:00 AM - 8:30 AM start (flexibility for occasional 5:00 AM starts required)
Benefits: Available after 60 days (1st of the following month)

As the QA Supervisor, you will oversee the implementation of food safety and quality management systems to ensure compliance with specifications, USDA standards, HACCP, SQF, GMPs, and customer requirements. You will serve as a key liaison with USDA officials and collaborate with production, plant management, and contracted service providers.
Key Responsibilities Implement and oversee food safety and quality management systems. Conduct audits and oversee pre-operational sanitation inspections. Act as the primary liaison with USDA and plant teams. Train and mentor plant personnel to support continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in new product development, validation, and implementation. Troubleshoot food safety and quality issues and execute corrective actions. Manage QA Tech schedules and ensure task completion. Develop reports using Microsoft Office tools and manage USDA Sketch approvals. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED required; a degree in Food Science or related field preferred. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in food safety, quality assurance, or related fields. Skills: Knowledge of retail meat cuts and product specifications. Proficiency in HACCP, SQF Practitioner certification (preferred). Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Perform physical activities such as climbing, squatting, kneeling, bending, and reaching. Work in a cold, refrigerated environment. Why Join Us?
