Understands production processes and advocate procedures to ensure that safe, quality products are producedKnowledge of federal, state, and customer requirementsConduct environmental sampling and maintaining spreadsheetsEffectively train employees on quality procedures as necessaryPerform Hold and Release procedure as neededPerform internal audits and facility verificationsStrong communication skills to collaborate with production supervisors and leads to effectively solve problems in a timely mannerSupport CCP training, verification, and calibrationConduct investigations and follow up on internal quality issuesCross-train to be back up for Lab Technician as neededManage product retainsQualifications: Associate Degree in a science related field from a two-year college or technical school; or a minimum of six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver around machinesAbility to read and comprehend documents such as standard operating procedures, lab results, certificates of analysis, etc.Ability to write standard documentationAbility to effectively present information to other employees in the organizationAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimalsConditions of Employment: Candidates subject to a pre-employment background check.
