Hospital DetailsVibra Hospital of Clear Lake is a Critical Care Hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.
ResponsibilitiesAssists the Director of Quality and Risk Management to ensure continuous quality improvement and organizational excellence. Supports the quality function by promoting adherence with all regulatory, compliance, accreditation, and legal issues. Additionally promotes a safe environment for all employees, patients, and visitors. Support Quality Management with reports of risk issues, and infection control.
Required Skills:High school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum two (2) years of healthcare experience required.Additional Qualifications/Skills:Ability to understand and demonstrate knowledge of quality management programs in the hospital industry.Previous nursing and/or quality management experience preferred.Associate's Degree and/or healthcare certification program preferred.Understands the Joint Commission and/or CARF accreditation requirements and processes.Ability to gather data and trends and assist with updating reports.Possess organizational skills and demonstrated project management skills.Ability to assist Director of Quality Management with leading diverse teams to a common purpose and proactively assist the Quality Department with seeking new ideas and solutions to organizational challenges.Exemplary customer service, communication and interpersonal skills are required.Must be flexible and responsive to needs of Quality/Risk Management and possess ability to balance the needs of multiple priorities.Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.Excellent problem solving and solution oriented skills.Ability to project a professional image.Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.BenefitsAt Vibra Healthcare, employees are our priority.
