The Quality Assurance Engineer ensures high-quality software releases for network products through testing and automation in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

responsibilities:
Ensure high-quality, stable software releases that meet performance requirements and are free of major issues.
Test both Windows thick client and web-based applications running on Windows and Linux.
Serve as the voice of the customer throughout the development cycle.
Execute both manual and automated test suites as part of the overall test strategy.
Learn scripting to assist in automated testing efforts when applicable.
Monitor the CI/CD process, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the team and business.
Contribute to a team culture of productivity, engagement, and product ownership.
Continuously improve the test strategy by adding new test suites using Xray for Jira.
Mentor peers, challenge standard processes, and introduce new ideas to improve testing efficiency. Skills:
Competence in working within a fast-paced, agile environment with cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to drive software quality in an Agile environment.
strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work independently or within a team.
Experience across all phases of software testing (Functional, Performance, Integration, Regression, User Acceptance, Release Management).
Experience testing web-based client-server systems and desktop-based services on Microsoft Windows.
Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to collaborate effectively with technology staff and all levels of management. Experience: 3-5+ years of relevant software QA experience.
