About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team in the ready to eat meal industry.
As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our food products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
You will work closely with our production team to develop and implement quality control procedures, and you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet regulatory requirements.
Your work will be critical to maintaining our reputation for excellence in the food industry.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in quality assurance in the food industry.
Strong knowledge of food quality, food safety, and food processing.
Experience managing a team of quality control technicians.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with computer programs to manage quality control processes.
Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Certification in food safety or quality assurance.
Responsibilities: Own and integrate a robust SQF-based Food Safety Management System.
Maintain and enforce full compliance with SQF Level 2 manufacturing standards.
Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure that all food products meet regulatory requirements and our high standards of quality and safety.
Collaborate with the production team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to improve product quality and efficiency.
Conduct regular audits of our production processes to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Manage a team of quality control technicians and provide training and guidance to ensure that they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
Communicate with customers and regulatory agencies to address any quality or safety concerns and ensure that our products meet their expectations.
