You validate product behavior using team-provided SOPs, test tools, and automation.You have prior knowledge of the various forms of testing methodologies (e.g., functional, unit, integration, system, performance, etc.) and can discern which SOP or tool is the right one to utilize for the assignment.You are able to install/configure software and use debug settings. Your work focuses on testing existing components and features with well-defined project requirements.You are able to take a defined test plan, write relevant black box test cases, and deliver it on schedule. You may participate in bug bashes or be asked to perform ad hoc testing.You find bugs worth fixing. You perform the first pass to see how effective a test case is and then modify it to appropriately cover the component or feature. You interpret test results and provide relevant information in easily digestible formats (e.g., bug reports).You take the time to learn about how the components and features you test interact to create a particular customer experience.You have some experience with the STLC and a basic knowledge in test methodologies. You are skilled in four core software-testing techniques: (1) equivalence class partitioning, (2) boundary value testing, (3) verifying each requirement, and (4) state transition.Key Job ResponsibilitiesSmall-medium project Test Plan.Manual Test Execution - Regression and Feature Testing, Defect Reporting and Status Reporting.Automation Tests Execution, Debugging, and Reporting Failures.Tools development.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Experience with device testing, software testing, manual testing, API testing, and test case enumeration.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 1+ years in testing experience preferred.
