Quality Assurance Technician

The Role: We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Quality Assurance (QA) Technician to join our team. As a QA Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our coffee products and environment maintain the highest standards of quality and safety. You will be responsible for testing raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products, while auditing our manufacturing processes to guarantee consistency and compliance with quality parameters. This position reports to the Sr. Manager of QA and operates on the first shift (Monday through Friday), with occasional overtime as needed. What You Will Do: Conduct comprehensive testing on raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods to ensure product quality and safety standards are met.Perform daily audits of the manufacturing process, verifying adherence to all product quality and safety protocols.Accurately record, maintain, and organize test data, ensuring all necessary reports are completed and filed appropriately.Assist in investigating and resolving product complaints, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.Play a vital role in pre-operational inspections, environmental monitoring, and line release processes.Complete process audit forms promptly and route paperwork to the appropriate departments for review and action.Operate testing equipment and provide precise quality-related reports, supporting data-driven decisions.Participate in all required food safety and site-related training programs, ensuring compliance with regulations.Support the team in maintaining compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and workplace safety protocols, helping to uphold a safe and efficient work environment. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Strong communication skills and the ability to organize priorities and effectively communicate status updates with team members.An analytical mind that can effectively extract and report on data in a detail oriented fashion.Commitment to safety and health practices in the workplace.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Preferred: 1-3 years of quality experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.Experience in the Food & Beverage Industry.
