Quality Casting Engineer Intern
Amsted Rail has an immediate opening for a Quality Casting Engineer Intern at its operation in Granite City, Illinois.

This unique opportunity requires an innovative, self-starting individual to apply their creativity and vision to our green sand foundry process.
In addition, the employee will assist with technical issues relating to quality of products, metrology, non-destructive testing, and manage throughput of products.
Applicants need to be able to think creatively, manage projects and communicate effectively.
The Co-Op student will tackle one ongoing major project, along with daily tasks within the casting quality-engineering group.
The goal is for a student to work part time while in school.
Qualifications: Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or Engineering Management w/ Industrial Engineering focus - 3.0 GPA minimum.
Strong interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills Ability to work from written or verbal instructions Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel CAD software experience Working at Amsted Rail:
