Job Description:

The Assistant Manager, Quality Assurance (AMQA) for our collision repair service is responsible for overseeing the compliance and quality of all repair work.
The AMQA plays a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to excellence by ensuring that all repair work adheres to industry standards, customer requirements, and company policies.


Key Job Responsibilities Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan Ensures that the customers' vehicles are repaired exceeding Gerber Collision's quality expectations and the customers' needs.
Oversee all quality assurance procedures in the collision repair process Conduct regular inspections and audits of repair work Identify and resolve quality-related issues, ensuring corrective actions are implemented Collaborate with the repair team to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives Provide training and support to the repair team on quality standards and procedures Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards Prepare and present quality reports to management Education and/or Experience Required High School Diploma or equivalent Technician or Production Manager experience required Proven experience in quality assurance within the automotive industry, preferably in a collision repair environment Strong knowledge of industry quality standards and regulations Valid Driver's License Required Skills/Abilities Effectively manage a fast-paced environment, demonstrating multi-tasking ability while working under pressure Comprehensive knowledge of the estimating process Excels at building and maintaining business relationships Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing Well-developed organizational skills with the ability to prioritize Working knowledge of vehicle repairs practices Understand key shop metrics, client expectations and how they impact the company's overall financial performance Extensive Knowledge of the Management System (MIS) and Estimating Systems Other Requirements Frequently required to bend, crouch, reach, handle tools and lift in excess of 50lbs of materials I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification) Please note, this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.

Compensation Details:

Pay range: $55,000-$75,000 annually.
