Inspects incoming raw materials, electronic, mechanical components as well as manufactured/ OEM products to ensure they meet design specifications before being released to production.
Completes appropriate paperwork necessary for conforming and non-conforming materials.
How You`ll Make An Impact: Performs manual and automated inspection of raw materials, semi-finished goods, finished goods, electronic and mechanical components where more sophisticated and complex measurements are required.
Calibrates and maintains equipment and devices according to Standard Operating Procedures.
Sends raw materials to test lab according to QC test specification requirements.
Forwards documentation to test labs as required, releases material disposition notices and applies approval stickers to inspected materials.
Troubleshoots basic assay and equipment problems.
Analyzes problems encountered in the performance of testing and issues the proper documentation and recommendations.
Issues non-conformance report as needed upon inspection of material.
May perform verification of customer returns.
Performs other duties as assigned. What You Bring: Education: Associate Degree or college level course work in assigned technical discipline preferred.
Work Experience: 3+ years production or clinical laboratory experience, QC inspection experience preferred.
Working knowledge of quality systems, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Ability to use/operate lab and/or test equipment and tools utilized in basic inspection tasks including optical dimensioning equipment for electrical/mechanical inspection tasks.
Knowledge of SolidWorks CAD software for electrical/mechanical inspection, preferred Ability to read and interpret electronic and mechanical drawings.
Ability to extract, verify and compile information from a variety of sources to be applied in the completion of multi-step procedures.
Proficient at troubleshooting problems to the component level and performing root cause analysis.
Computer skills including Microsoft office tools-Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Good analytical and organizational skills.
Knowledge of ERP system, SAP desirable.
Professional and effective verbal and written business communication skills, required.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $25.96 to $35.72 per hour at the time of posting.
Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
