They have a deep history in this space and deep finanical backings from a parent company which allows them to operate with a vision towards the future; one that you will help shape.Job DescriptionThis role plays a vital part in different quality areas such as:Customer Focus: Conducting tests specific to customer needs, generating reports with test data, and collaborating with technical support to deliver prompt and accurate responses to test-related inquiries.Product Development: Working closely with engineers to improve lab equipment and provide crucial testing support for new product launches.Equipment Management: Ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all lab equipment, complying with relevant regulations.Documentation & Compliance: Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) that adhere to regulatory requirements and industry standards like AS9100.Safety & Materials: Assessing the safety compliance of new equipment and raw materials.Inventory & Maintenance: Overseeing the procurement of lab supplies and preventive maintenance of facility equipment.Technical Expertise: Providing technical assistance through various communication channels.
Completing technical reports on tested products, including any encountered issues.Communication & Collaboration: Fostering clear and effective communication between different teams within the organization.Safety Protocols: Handling and testing samples according to established safety protocols.Responsiveness: Addressing requests from management promptly.Quality Assurance: Conducting quality and safety audits as required.Essential Skills: Demonstrating excellent organization and multitasking abilities.
Possessing an understanding of manufacturing processes, the value chain, and key operational metrics.

The Successful ApplicantQualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Engineering) preferred.Experience:Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality control or process engineering role within a manufacturing environment.Proven experience in various laboratory testing procedures and generating accurate test reports.Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies.Experience working with and maintaining laboratory equipment and software used in quality control (e.g., Laboratory Management software).Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems a plus.Skills:Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.Understanding of manufacturing processes and value chain.Ability to analyze and interpret key operational metrics.Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments.Quality & Improvement:Understanding of quality management systems like ISO 9001 and AS9100.Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and a proven track record in problem-solving and root cause analysis.Knowledge of statistical methods and their application in quality control.Additional Preferences:Experience in material/analytical laboratory testing.Six Sigma Black Belt certification a plus.Experience with adhesive testing preferred.This employee must meet ITAR Regulations, meaning that you must be a US Citizen or hold a US Green CardWhat's on OfferOn offer for this Quality Engineer is:Strong Salary CompensationBenefitsPTOAnnual Performance Based BonusStrong Company CultureUpward MobilityMaternity/PaternityEmployee Healthand more!APPLY TODAY THROUGH THE "APPLY" BUTTON!
