About the Role: As a Quality Engineering Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our Quality team, working closely with the Quality Manager. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience with LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies, quality systems, and statistical analysis in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
This internship can either be a part-time opportunity during the school year (10-20 hours per week) and full-time in the summer, with flexible hours to accommodate your academic schedule.
What You'll Do: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Apply LEAN and Six Sigma tools to variation reduction projects.Collaborate with various departments to update ISO ******** Quality System requirements.Conduct statistical analyses, including SPC, Gauge R&R studies, and Process Capability studies.Perform Measurement System Analyses as needed.Conduct Internal and Supplier Quality System Audits as required.Collect, analyze, and share Quality System data using conventional statistical tools.Track and report Quality System Performance trends.Diagnose and recommend corrective actions for manufacturing quality issues, both internally and with suppliers.Advise on appropriate statistical methods for process validation and improvement.Plan, execute, and document internal capability studies.
  What We're Looking For: Education, Skills, Experience, and Knowledge: Currently enrolled in an accredited engineering program, ideally in your junior year.Availability for part-time work (10-20 hours/week) during the school year and full-time in the summer, with flexible scheduling.Experience in statistical analysis and quality systems is a plus, though training will be provided.Knowledge of LEAN, Six Sigma, and ISO ******** standards preferred.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and general productivity software.Ability to analyze and interpret quality data using statistical tools.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Must provide your own housing and transportation to the Mequon, WI area.
