Quality Generalist
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Be accountable for all areas of quality including product, process and system quality for Greenhouse Operations;
Implement and maintain high level standards of Quality, Stewardship, Compliance and Continuous Improvement to successfully deliver expected business outcomes;
Maintain a Quality Management System on site according to external and internal requirements and stablish Site Quality Management reviews;
Build network across other sites/crops/functions, benchmarking best practices, creating operational opportunities and driving better results.
Partner at site and across organization in Crop Science to excel on Lean and Manufacturing Excellence to ensure key critical parameters are in place to deliver product/pipeline right the first time.
Drive/facilitate/engage with appropriate on-site communication and networks – providing process oversight across Quality and Continuous Improvement journey at the site.
Develop, review, facilitate site key performance indicators which provide a clear tracking system for site results, driving actions focused on implementation, maintenance and sustainability of Continuous Improvement and Quality Systems.
Develop product and pipeline delivery to internal customers review, determining corrective action processes and ensuring follow up;
Measure and report the Cost of Poor-Quality occurrences;
Co-Accountable with SRRs to ensure stewardship processes are understood and being utilized throughout the site as part of a QMS;
Assure departmental and cross functional disciplines are trained in all aspects of quality; Develop and support internal audits to assure adherence to Quality and Compliance policies, processes, and requirements
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
Minimum BS with 10-year experience or MS with 6-year experience
Minimum 4-year experience managing quality systems as ISO and or Production Systems
Proven experience on value delivery thru continuous improvement and compliance
Proven skills at influencing, managing conflict and negotiating with cross functional, diverse teams.
Presential at Marana Site and availability to travel 20% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA Second foreign language; Spanish, Portuguese or German
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $86,507.07 - $129,760.61. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
