Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing company in Westford, MA to bring on a Quality Inspector with CMM experience.
This is a full-time position.
**Pay:** $30-$40 an hour depending on experience
**Shift:** 7:00am 3:30pm, OT may be available
**Position** : Quality Inspector
**Job Overview:** We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector with a strong machine shop background to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and a passion for ensuring high-quality standards in manufacturing.

**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Conduct thorough inspections of machined parts using CMM, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards.
+ Program and operate CMM equipment to perform dimensional checks and generate inspection reports.
+ Review blueprints and technical documentation to understand part specifications, tolerances, and quality requirements.
+ Utilize various measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify part dimensions and characteristics.
+ Identify non-conformities and communicate findings effectively to relevant team members.
+ Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
+ Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation for traceability and compliance.
+ Ensure adherence to safety standards and promote a culture of safety in the workplace.
**Skills and Qualifications:**
+ Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a machine shop environment.
+ Proficient in CMM operation and programming, with a strong understanding of measurement principles.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
+ Familiarity with various measuring tools and quality inspection methods.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
+ Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
+ Proficient in computer applications related to quality control and data management.
**Education and Experience:**
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality inspection within a machining environment.
+ Experience with CMM programming and operation.
+ High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in quality control or a related field is a plus.
