Quality Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly diligent and experienced Quality Manager to oversee quality control and assurance processes in both manufacturing and logistics operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products and services meet or exceed customer expectations, follow regulatory requirements, and adhere to internal quality standards. This position requires strong leadership, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work various shifts as needed.
This position will be based at our Memphis Distribution Center located in Southaven, MS.
Role Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management system for manufacturing and logistics operations.
Monitor and maintain quality control procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, operations, procurement, and logistics, to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
Analyze product and process data to identify trends, root causes of quality issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Lead and mentor quality assurance personnel, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure consistent adherence to quality standards.
Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Be responsible for the supervision and maintenance of documentation related to quality control processes, encompassing work instructions, quality records, and other necessary paperwork.
Conduct supplier audits and evaluations to ensure the quality of purchased materials and services.
Monitor customer feedback and implement corrective actions to address any quality-related concerns or complaints.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts, including lean manufacturing initiatives, to enhance overall operational efficiency and quality performance.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements related to quality management in manufacturing and logistics.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in quality management, or a related field.
Proven experience in quality management roles
Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methods, and tools, such as statistical process control, root cause analysis, and Six Sigma.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify trends and patterns.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence change.
Thorough and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Flexibility to work various shifts as required to support manufacturing and logistics operations.
Proficient in using quality management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in quality management, or a related field.
Experience in manufacturing and logistics environments.

The pay range for this position is $73,500 - $126,000. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
