TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is seeking a Quality Resident Engineer/Automotive Liaison Location: Commerce, GA
This job is key for the success of TRIGO's Quality Resident Engineering business, with the following objectives to be accomplished to the highest standards to avoid official claims from the customer through preventive and corrective actions.
Responsibilities: Ensure customer satisfaction through technical support and quality issue resolution. Build strong professional relationships with customers at the plant level. Act as the contracted customer's representative to resolve production issues and build credibility. Maintain open communication between OEM and the contracted customer. Suggest improvements to both OEM and contracted customer. Analyze problems at OEM's facility to find solutions and prevent claims. Provide continuous feedback to the customer regarding the status of existing claims. Participate in customer meetings as required. Seek feedback on customer satisfaction regarding our products and services. Audit how the customer handles our products regularly. Stay updated on technical and quality-related specifics through regular meetings and visits. Report any competitor initiatives to the TRIGO Resident Liaison Manager. Regularly report to the dedicated contracted partner's team. Participate in prototypes, pre-serial builds, and engineering changes as needed. Report to the TRIGO Country Resident Manager and defined external contacts. Involve in customer requirements concerning technical changes. Represent the contracted partner and customer interests. Coordinate repair and sorting activities on-site based on written confirmation. Required Skills: Strong mechanical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong knowledge in process and process controls. Experience in identifying and implementing standardized work. Experience in process and product audits. Knowledge of shipping and receiving. Strong leadership abilities. Preferred experience in sequencing automotive parts. Preferred Tier 1 experience. Personal Skills: Able to handle pressure and ambiguous situations. Eager to take on new challenges and responsibilities. Self-motivated and a self-starter. Strong integrity as a company representative. Able to build long-term win-win relationships with clients. Excellent problem-solving and customer relationship skills. Available to be on call at any time.
