Quality Supervisor - Bilingual - Food Manufacturing - 2655688

Global food manufacturer is currently in search of an experienced Quality Supervisor (QA Supervisor) to join its team within its Freeport, TX plant.
Freeport is located on the Gulf, approximately sixty (60) miles south of Houston. Top consideration will be given to candidates who are bilingual English / Spanish.


This position will support the Quality Manager in oversight of all aspects of quality assurance within the plant, including food safety and regulatory compliance to GFSI / SQF and HACCP standards.


Key requirements to be considered for this position:

You MUST HAVE a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related fieldYou MUST HAVE at least three (3) years of experience in quality and food safety within a food manufacturing / food processing environment, with at least one (1) year in supervisionYou must have a proven track record of hands-on leadership of QA techs on the plant floorYou must be conversational in Spanish, with strong preference given to candidates who are fully bilingualYou should have certifications in key areas such as SQF and HACCP - GFSI / SQF Practitioner certification is also preferredYou must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer - sorry, no sponsorships

Our client will offer a base salary of $75-85k, bonus opportunity, excellent benefits that begin on day one of employment, strong PTO plan, and matching 401(k).
