Quality Supervisor

Gpac is seeking a Quality Supervisor for one our clients in Northern Ohio. They are a family-owned company that has been in business for more than 60 years and committed to providing the highest quality products.
The Quality Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the food safety and quality of product in specific production departments within the plant.
* This role has the overall accountability of ensuring the applicable food safety and quality programs are fully implemented and documented to ensure USDA regulatory compliance and the production of safe products.
* Applies all QA/FS policies and procedures in daily interactions with plant production and quality employees.
* Must provide leadership, guidance, training and improvement strategies to achieve company and department goals while adhering to compliance with USDA and FDA agencies.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Working knowledge of meat processing or similar.
* Comprehensive knowledge of USDA, and HACCP requirements.
* SQF Certified, preferred.
